Holmer 365
Holmer 365 gives you access to E-mail, your personal OneDrive and online Office applications. Sign in with your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password.

MyStuff
Access your school Home drive and shared folders such as the 'R' drive. Sign in with your school username and password.

Printing Portal
Upload Office documents to print. Works when in you are in school only. Sign in with your school username and password.

School Website
Learn about events and find out what's happening in school.

Your Holmer 365 e-mail address is the same as your school network username, but it ends with "@holmer.org.uk"  They both use the same password. Keep your password safe at all times, and don't reveal it to anyone else!

Holmer eStream Video Holmer eStream Video contains films, documentaries, live lesson recordings and clips for educational use. Click 'Sign in with Microsoft Account.'  In most cases, you will be signed in automatically.

School Work

Class Notebook
Class Notebook is used in some subjects to build portfolios of work and to learn interactively. This link opens the Web version, but if you have the OneNote Application on your device, open that instead. Log in using your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password.

Seneca
Seneca allows you to learn in a fun way for free, across a wide range of subjects. You can sign up for a free account using your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password. 

Show My Homework / Satchel

Show My Homework allows you to see all homework (and classwork for remote learning) that has been set. You don't have to log in to use SMHW, but if you want to you can log in by clicking 'Log in with Microsoft 365' and then entering your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password.

Student Dashboard 
You may be set work on Student Dashboard 365. This allows you to create longer pieces of work and submit them to your teacher electronically. It works hand-in-hand with Office 365. Log in using your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password.

Teams Live Lessons 
Sign in to Teams Live Lessons for video lessons. This link opens the Web version, but if you have the Teams App on your device, open that instead. Log in using your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password. If you don't have it already, you can download the Teams App from here.

BBC Bitesize (Online)
BBC Bitesize is a great way to learn and revise. Click on the site and then select 'Secondary.' No sign-in required and works on all devices.

Google Chrome (Free Download) Google Chrome is a popular web browser. It is an alternative to the Microsoft Edge browser already on most PCs. It's free to download. Note: To keep you safe from viruses, we recommend that you do not try and install any extensions inside Chrome.

Oak National Academy (Online)
Lessons and resources to support learning. No sign-in required and works on all devices.

​Office 365 (Free Download)​
Office Professional software will be installed on many PCs already. Look out for the Word, Excel and PowerPoint icons on your desktop. Click on the Windows Start button to find other apps. If Office asks you to sign in, make sure you sign in with your Holmer 365 e-mail address and password. Current staff and students of HGSS can install Office free of charge. PC: If Office is not installed you can click on this link. Sign in with your school e-mail and then click 'Install Office.' Mac, IOS and Android: Go to your App Store.

Krita (Free Download)
Use Krita for photo touchup and computer-based artwork. Note: This is free software that can be downloaded and installed onto personal computers. Available for PC and Mac.

Paint.Net (Free Download)
Paint.Net can be used to manipulate and touch up images. Note: This is free software that can be downloaded and installed onto personal computers. Do not download versions that ask for money. Available for PC.

Photopea (Online)
Use Photopea as a replacement for Photoshop. Note: This is an online app that does not need to be installed. Use the free version. If you sign up, use your school e-mail address. Works on all devices.

Godot (Free Download)
The amazing free Game engine. Note: This is free software that can be downloaded and installed onto personal computers. Make sure you install the same version that is currently being used in school. The free Google Earth allows you to explore our home, planet Earth. No sign-in required. Geogebra (Online or Free Download) The amazing Geogebra software, helping with everyone from calculus, statistics, algebra and geometry. Note: The 'Classic 6' version is favoured in school. There is an app for Android and IOS and a full 'Classic 6' package for Windows. There is also an online version that works on any device - click on the blue link below for online.

Bandlab (Online)
Bandlab allows you to create music in an online app. Note: This is an online app that does not need to be installed. Sign up using your school e-mail address. Works on most devices.

Focus On Sound (Online)
An exciting online digital music library. Develop your listening and composing skills. Sign in by selecting 'Sign in with Microsoft Teams.' If then asked for a username and password, use your school e-mail address and password.

MuseScore (Download)
MuseScore free software allows you to compose and create beautiful Sheet music. Note: Software available for Mac and PC. You should also sign in to the MuseScore.org website using your school e-mail address. The direct link for download of the software is below.

Technology

OnShape (Online)
OnShape is an online CAD package. Note: This is an online app that does not need to be installed. Sign up using your school e-mail address. Do not select the professional version - there is no need to pay to use OnShape for school work. Works on most PCs and Macs with modern hardware.

TechSoft Design (Download)
TechSoft Design is a CAD package designed for school use. Download and intall when instructed by your teacher. The software will require a serial number which your teacher will supply. Do not give your serial number to anyone else.  Available for PC.

TinkerCAD (Online)
TinkerCAD is a free online CAD package designed for school work. Note: This is an online app that does not need to be installed. Sign up using your school e-mail address. Works on most PCs and Macs with modern hardware.
